General Care

-  Wash hair with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner (use Aussie)
-  Comb hair from tip to root, meaning start at the bottom and work your way up
-  When styling, do use a setting spray to hold curls, we suggest a freeze spray like Aussie freeze hair spray or holding spray
-  Avoid pulling your unit from the lace ( causes lace to rip Orr tear)
-  Do invest in high quality oil ( biosilk)

-  Curly Hair

COWASH, PRODUCT, AIRDRY in that order
Recommend the coconut curly products from ogx ( conditioner, curl pudding, and oil) use a generous amount to define the curl and then allow it to air dry

-  Trim

EXTENTIONS SHOULD STILL BE TRIMMED
Extensions still get dead ends and thin out no matter how good the hair is it is still hair so to make it look healthy make sure you trim the dead ends or thinning

-  Colored hair

  • Use cold water to wash the hair

  • Use a color protectant shampoo and conditioner to avoid color wash out • Deep condition 2 a month

  • Recommended Styling Steps • Washing
When washing hair work the the shampoo in in a combing motion, do not work shampoo in a circular motion as it can lead to tangling . . . especially in frontals and closures where the hair is fragile

Use lukewarm or cold water to wash your units, we never recommend hot water unless your doing a deep conditioning treatment.

  • Using Heat
  • When using heat we recommend temperature up to 450 degrees, anything above that can cause the hair to burn.
  • Drying your Hair
  • When trying hair we always recommend air drying especially for curly hair

• For silk press and curls blow-dry the hair to get maximum volume when curling or straightening
• Going to Bed
When going to bed use silk everything, silk bonnet, silk pillowcase just silk as it helps protect your hair from drying out
For frontal units and closure sew ins make sure to tie down the frontal overnight to get a fresh install look every morning doing this will make the longevity of the install last longer
Closure units we suggest just taking them off at night and reapplying them in the morning
